This pumpkin butter is such a great idea. Finally a spread that I can send to school (no nuts allowed and none of my children love jam). My children love this! And it's so affordable and easy to make. -LOUISE

This Pumpkin  Butter can be enjoyed in so  many tasty ways...

Ingredients

*pumpkin puree *unsweetened apple juice/apple cider *maple syrup *cinnamon *nutmeg *ginger *allspice *salt *cloves *lemon juice *vanilla extract

Combine All Ingredients

In a large, deep pot, combine the pumpkin puree, apple juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, salt, and cloves.

Cook on Low

Bring to a low simmer and cook, stirring frequently, for 30 to 45 minutes or until thickened to your desired consistency.

Add Lemon and Vanilla

Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla.

Cool and Store

Cool a bit before transferring to an airtight container and storing in the refrigerator.

Serve & enjoy!!!
