Homemade Chocolate Pudding

Classic Homemade Chocolate Pudding is not only thick and silky,but it's deceptively easy to make!

Let's make it!

Ingredients:

*cocoa powder *sugar *whole milk *cornstarch *egg yolks *salt *chocolate chips *butter *pure vanilla extract

Simmer.

Combine sugar and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Slowly whisk in milk. Bring to a simmer.

Whisk.

In a large bowl, whisk together additional milk, cornstarch, egg yolks, and salt.

Combine.

Stir rapidly while very slowly pouring the hot milk/cocoa mixture into the egg yolk mixture.

Transfer.

Transfer mixture to a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

Finish.

Remove from heat. Mix in melted chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla until smooth.

Divide.

Strain pudding through a fine-mesh sieve and divide into cups or small bowls.

Chill.

Cover each pudding with plastic wrap (no air bubbles) and chill.

Serve & enjoy!!!
