Ingredients

• Ripe Tomatoes • Garlic Cloves • Olive Oil • Balsamic Vinegar • Sugar • Salt + Black Pepper • Fresh Herbs

Slice tomatoes. Remove seeds and juices, then poke some holes in the bottom of tomato end-pieces. Drain.

Arrange on a baking sheet and sprinkle with garlic and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Sprinkle with sugar, salt, and ground pepper.

Roast until tomatoes are soft, dark, and caramelized.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs and serve.
