Ingredients

• salted butter • brown sugar • heavy cream • pure vanilla extract • salt

In a medium saucepan set over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

Add the brown sugar and stir for 2 minutes.

Add the heavy cream and stir continuously for 2 more minutes as the caramel sauce gently bubbles.

Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in vanilla and salt.

Pour the hot caramel sauce into a jar and allow it to cool completely. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
