• frozen corn • butter • grated Parmesan  • heavy cream • salt • sugar • all-purpose flour

Brush a baking dish with melted butter and sprinkle in Parmesan to coat the dish.

In a saucepan, heat the cream to a simmer. Stir in the corn, salt, and sugar.

Whisk flour into melted butter. Blend this paste into the corn mixture and stir until thickened.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and bake until golden and bubbly.
