Ingredients

• butter • garlic • carrots • cooked cubed chicken • all-purpose flour • low-sodium chicken broth • half-and-half • white wine (optional) • dried thyme • garlic powder + onion powder • salt + pepper • cooked diced potato • frozen green peas • unbaked pie crust

Make the filling by sauteing garlic and carrots in butter. Stir in chicken and flour, then add liquids and bring to a simmer until thickened. Season, then add potatoes and peas.

Pour the mixture into baking dish. Roll out the pie crust so that it's about one inch larger than the dish. Lay the crust on top of the dish.

Press the edges of the pie crust to the size of the baking dish and cut vents on top of the crust.

Bake until golden and bubbly. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
