• balsamic vinegar • French bread • garlic • salt • black pepper • crushed red pepper flakes • extra-virgin olive oil • fresh mozzarella cheese • sliced tomatoes • basil
Make balsmic reduction by simmering balsamic vinegar in a saucepan until thickened and reduced.

Place French bread halves on a sheet pan. Brush with garlic-infused olive oil. Top with mozzarella and tomato slices, and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and just starting to brown around the edges and the pizza is heated through.

Drizzle with balsamic reduction. Sprinkle with ribbons of basil.
Slice into wedges and serve hot.
