Ingredients

• Dried Green Split Peas • Diced Ham • Diced Potatoes • Shredded Carrots • Minced Garlic • Chicken Broth • Bay Leaf • Fresh Parsley • Salt + Pepper

Place dried split peas, ham, potatoes, carrots, and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Pour in the chicken broth and stir in the bay leaf and fresh parsley.

Cover and cook until split peas are tender and broken down.

Taste, add salt and pepper as needed, and garnish with additional fresh parsley, if desired.
