• sweet potatoes • water • whole milk • butter • pure maple syrup • lemon juice • pure vanilla extract • salt • ground cinnamon • ground nutmeg • ground ginger • chopped toasted pecans
Peel sweet potatoes and cut them into chunks. Toss them in the slow cooker with water and cook until tender.

Drain off the water and mash the sweet potatoes right in the crockpot. Stir in the milk, butter, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
Cover until heated back through. Just before serving, top with chopped toasted pecans. Enjoy!
