• chicken • julienned carrots • garlic • dried Italian seasoning • bay leaves • salt + pepper • chicken stock OR broth • egg noodles • fresh parsley leaves • lemon juice
In a large pot, add chicken, carrots, garlic, herbs, seasonings, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken, bring soup to a boil, and add noodles and parsley. Shred the chicken and add back to the soup after the noodles are done.
Stir in a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and adjust the seasonings. Optionally garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve.
