French Breakfast Puffs

French Breakfast Puffs are tender vanilla muffins drenched in melted butter and dipped in cinnamon sugar for a sweet and crunchy coating that makes breakfast time a treat!

Let's make 'em!

Ingredients

*flour *baking powder *salt *nutmeg *butter *sugar *eggs *milk *vanilla extract

For the COATING:

*butter *sugar *cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients.

Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.

Combine wet & dry ingredients.

Beat together softened butter and sugar. Mix in eggs. Blend in flour mixture and milk. Stir in vanilla.

Bake.

Divide batter between muffin cups. Bake until edges start to turn golden.

Make the coating.

Pour melted butter into a bowl. In another bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

Coat the muffins.

Dip the top of each muffin in butter and then press it into the cinnamon sugar mixture until generously coated.

Serve warm & enjoy!!!
