In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, coconut flakes, and salt. Pour oil and honey over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.

Transfer granola recipe onto prepared sheet pan and spread into an even layer.
Bake, stirring and flipping with a wooden spoon every 10 minutes, until the granola is evenly golden brown, about 30 minutes total.

Remove the granola from the oven and stir frequently as it cools. If desired, mix in 2 cups of dried fruit or preferred add-ins.
Store homemade granola in an airtight container.
