Ingredients

• French Bread • Cream Cheese • Powdered Sugar • Lemon Juice + Zest • Blueberries • Eggs • Milk • Maple Syrup • Vanilla Extract • Salt For  The Lemon Syrup: • Water + Sugar • Lemon Juice + Zest • Corn Starch • Salted Butter • Heavy Cream • Vanilla Extract

Arrange half of the bread cubes in the bottom of a buttered baking dish.

Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Spoon over the bread cubes, spread, and then sprinkle blueberries and top with remaining bread cubes.

Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, lemon zest, and salt; pour over bread cubes. Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature, bake, and let cool.

Combine ingredients for lemon syrup and simmer until thickened. Drizzle on top of casserole and serve.
