Ingredients

For The Cake: • Salted Butter • Water • Lemon Juice • All-purpose Flour • Sugar • Sour Cream • Lemon Zest • Eggs • Pure Vanilla Extract • Pure Lemon Extract • Baking Soda • Salt For  The Glaze: • Powdered Sugar • Fresh Lemon Juice • Lemon Zest

Melt the butter. Add the water and the lemon juice, then bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Then stir in the flour, sugar, sour cream, and lemon zest.

Stir in the eggs. Mix in the vanilla and lemon extract. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the top of the batter, then stir.

Pour the batter into a greased sheet pan. Bake and let cool.

Prepare the glaze by combining powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Pour over cake and spread into a thin layer.

Chill the Lemon Sheet Cake for at least 30 minutes to allow the glaze to set before slicing.
