Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak is an easy, classic, delicious comfort food dinner of tender ground beef patties in a silky, savory mushroom gravy!

Ingredients

• Ground Beef • Bread Crumbs • Milk • Worcestershire Sauce • Parsley • Mustard • Salt + Pepper • Beef Broth + Bouillon Paste • Tomato Paste • Butter • Mushrooms • Garlic • Flour

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, mustard, salt, and black pepper.

Form the mixture into 8 equally-sized balls and flatten into patties.

Pour beef broth into a large measuring cup. Whisk in the tomato paste, mustard, beef bouillon base, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Set aside.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook Salisbury Steak patties until browned on both sides.

Remove the Salisbury Steaks to a paper-towel lined plate, cover to keep warm, and set aside.

Saute the mushrooms and garlic until tender, sprinkle with flour, and cook for 1 more minute.

Gradually stir in the broth mixture. Bring to a boil and cook until the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency.

Reduce heat, add cooked Salisbury Steak patties back to the pan, and submerge in the gravy until heated through.
